Amrutha garden

I am baaaaackkkk, I am hungryyyyyyyy..
Continuing the writing of blogs, I am here at a restaurant namely amrutha garden. Located in sarola,Pune district. This restaurant serves you multi cuisine as well as typical maratha cuisine.
It was a rainy morning, and I was craving for a cup of hot tea. But after seeing the menu, i wanted to try maratha breakfast, so I ordered a plate of "poha" (main ingredient is flattened rice)..
As the temperature was too cold, poha was very hot& it was very delicious. Along with flattened rice, generous amount of onions, potatoes, small amount of turmeric powder, mustard are the other ingredients.
Apart from poha, you guys can try "vada-pav", "misal-pav", "sabudana vada" &they are maratha breakfast.
They also serve South Indian, North Indian cuisine, chineese & Punjabi Cuisine which is a must try.
After having a plate of delicious Poha, i ordered a cup of "Khadak chai". You guys may ask what's so special?
Yes Khadak chai consists of more amount of milk, with a small amount of water, & it's boiled for few minutes& a small of elaichi is added to the chai, actually elaichi(cardamom) enhances the chai's flavour.

Rathnam veg : Dabaspete

I aaaaaaaam baaaaackkkk, I am really hungryyyyyyyy.. Food is the only thing I crave for, so today I will take you guys outside the capital of Karnataka because my mind says khata rahe Mera peth..
Today I am traveling to Pune (by bus) for a short visit, it's time to have dinner, & they had to stop in a restaurant namely shree rathnam veg which is on the highway (N.H 48 i.e; bangalore-mumbai highway)..
Not a very old restaurant, may be 2 to 3 years old..
They serve you North Indian & South Indian cuisine..
As I had the shortage of time, I had to order only one item i.e roti-curry, which is really delicious, along with roti they gave a dal  with limited amount of tadka and a curry made of rajma, not to spicy, limited useage of spices, made the curry taste awesome..
Apart from that they also serve a very popular dish that's none other than, curd rice (which is to be consumed when you are traveling), tastes good, a tadka of cashews which is fried  in Desi ghee enhance the taste of curd rice.. They also give a pickle because curd rice with pickle tastes awesome..

North Bengaluru's Janatha hotel

I aaammm baaaackkk, & I aaamm really hungryyyyyyyyy.. Reviewing the restaurant is my job & always my heart says "Khata rahe mera peth"..
It was a normal day to me, i was just wandering in the busy streets of Malleshwaram. There, I came across the heritage restaurant, namely "Janatha Hotel". Started in the 70s era, one of the favourite eatery points for Malleshwaram residents. Serving the customers, with their signture dish masala dose, which is a must try in this hotel. Serving the customers from past 40+years ,with a limited items in their menu is a must try.
Apart from masala dose, they also serve you guys idly-vade, plain dose, onion dose,chow-chow bath ( a combo of khara bath(spicy) & kesari bath (sweet)), Bajji, Shavige bath ( desi noodles) (just kidding).. Once you finish your breakfast, don't miss a cup of filter kaapi( coffee is locally called kaapi) which rejuvantes your mind to do some effective work for the day.

The restaurant is open between 7:30 AM& 12:45 PM & will reopen at 3:45 PM & all the way till 8:45 PM, which serves hundreds of customer daily.

Location of this heritage restaurant is Malleshwaram 8th cross, sampige road. Nearest Landmark is Kanyakaparameshwari temple.

South Bangalore's heritage restaurant - Vidyarthi bhavan

After completing school life, we enter college for pursuing higher studies. College is a place where we are welcomed by many unexpected things like academic & non academic. Very few like the academic things but few of them like non academic things. Including me, I was attracted to a non academic thing called food. Being a foodie I love to discover new varieties, new eatery points, new restaurants is what I love to do.
In my first write up, I would like to introduce you guys a heritage restaurant of south Bangalore, Vidyarthi Bhavan known for it's signature dish called "Masala Dose", topped with a good amount of butter.
It was a normal day for me, after shopping in the busy streets of Gandhi Bazar, there was a huge crowd which bothered me a lot. So, I went near the crowd but to my surprise they were waiting for their turn to eat "Masala Dose". Let me tell you guys, I was mesmerized by the aroma of dose.
Finally, after waiting for 40 long minutes i got a seat & ordered masala dose. From the first bite to the final bite, it was crispy, bit oily (which i love), but delicious dose i had in any restaurants in my life. Dose was stuffed with potato curry, generously topped with fresh butter.

Finally I was able to meet Shri.Arunkumar Adiga, who is presently continuing this legacy of running this heritage restaurant. He said "Vidyarthi Bhavan was started in the year 1943, by Shri.Venkataramana Ural, who hailed from Saligrama (near udupi), so that he can cater the students of  the nearby national college & Acharya Pathashala. Passed on to the hands of his beloved brother Shri.Parameshawara Ural, who made possible to increase the demand."
He also added " in 1970, his father Shri.Ramakrishna Adiga who hailed from Shankaranarayana (near kundapura),took up vidyarthi bhavana. Changed was only the management, not the taste the taste, delicacy, & finally the ambience."
If you want to visit this place, early morning or before  4:30 pm where the crowd is totally less. Or else morning walkers, senior citizens, students, IT professionals, will have occupied the seats. In the evening it's crowded like anything. Weekly holiday is on Friday.

Finally, I would like to give a report card for  this place,
Taste- 9
Ambience-10, you feel nostalgic
Price- very economical
Service- Very Quick, i would like to give 10/10 and most important thing, dear aspiring entrepreneurs visit this place, so that you guys can learn time management.
value for money- 9
Quality- 9

So guys, this is my first write up, I want your feedback & more than that your best wishes. In my next write up, i will be writing about some Eatery points, or the places which mesmerized me.
